The cover comes off — all of it. Every seat cushion and every backrest has its own zip, so the fabric goes in the machine without taking the sofa apart or wrestling anything back on afterwards.

Very pleased with my new couch! A game changer! Everything came in great condition (be careful when opening the couch cushions, it's packaged very tight) but I'm absolutely obsessed with it, the material is sturdy but so comfy and I finally have a place to host friends and family and it can easily double as a bed for a guest!
